Accuniq BC380

The ACCUNIQ BC380 is a smart body composition analyser capable of accurately measuring body data and analysing body composition. This product can be used in various fields such as medical facilities and fitness centres, as it allows to assess the water balance of the measurement target by checking the extracellular water ratio.

Features :

  • Touch panel and intuitive user interface - the 7-inch wide colour touchscreen and comfortable keyboard make the device easy to use and intuitive for everyone.
  • Line-type electrode handle and comfortable foot electrode attachment - the improved handle eliminates the need to press a separate button, while the larger foot size and lower height provide a feeling of stability during the measurement process.
  • Check body fat and muscle mass in individual body parts - You can see body fat and muscle mass in five body parts (left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, trunk). Muscle mass is important for people who need to increase muscle strength in a specific area, such as athletes or rehabilitation patients, and is easy to assess when evaluating the effects of exercise or rehabilitation therapy.
  • Check the extracellular water ratio (edema index) - The extracellular water ratio is an index that assesses the body's water balance in relation to the total body water, showing the current state of measurement as adequate, borderline or abnormal
  • Connection to a blood pressure monitor - You can monitor your blood pressure in relation to obesity and body composition by connecting our automatic electronic blood pressure monitor. You can efficiently manage your body composition and blood pressure measurements on one scorecard.

Provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface

It is designed using a cable connection method between the main body and the handheld electrodes, so that anyone from a child to a 220 cm adult can comfortably take measurements with their arms spread wide.

Extended and lowered leg electrodes

Compared to our existing products, measurements can be taken more comfortably with a larger footprint and lower height.

Data management programme

With ACCUNIQ Manager, you can systematically analyse and manage participant measurement data on your computer.

Precautions during measurement

  • Timed measurement - Measure before or 3 hours after a meal. For periodic measurements, always measure under the same conditions (same clothing, same time zone, empty stomach, before exercise, etc.) to accurately measure body changes.
  • Measure at room temperature (20~25℃) - Our body is most stable at room temperature, and if the temperature is too high or too low, it may affect the test result. Outdoor measurements in winter can cause high body fat percentage.
  • Avoid measurements after a lot of sweating - If measurements are taken after sweating, either due to climatic conditions or the environment, temporary changes in body water may be reflected in the results and may result in inaccurate results. Measure before exercise. During exercise, sweat and increased body temperature may cause temporary changes in body composition.
  • Take measurements before bathing - Saunas and hot baths cause the body to become waterlogged and this results in changes in the amount of water in the body that affect the results.
  • Avoid measurements after drinking large amounts of fluid - Bioelectrical impedance analysis does not accurately measure the amount of water in the gut, so most of the fluid you drink may be measured as fat.
  • Take measurements on an empty stomach before meals - Bioelectrical impedance analysis cannot accurately measure food in the gut, so it is recommended to take measurements before meals. If it is not possible to perform the procedure before a meal, measure 2 - 3 hours after a meal.
  • Take the measurement with light clothing - To improve the accuracy of the results, take the measurement after determining the weight of the clothing, in the environmental settings of the device.
  • Measure after standing for 5 minutes - If you suddenly change your position from sitting to standing, water may run down your lower body and affect the measurement.
  • Maintain correct measuring posture - Place the electrodes in the same position to the left and right and stand at attention, extending your arms at an angle of about 45° so that your arms do not touch your armpits during measurement.
  • Do not talk or move during the measurement - Body movement and talking while the analyser is running may affect the result.
  • Keep the electrodes clean - Foreign objects on the electrodes during measurement can cause measurement errors, so always keep them clean.
