Steps and Distance
Counts steps taken during the day. The number of steps is estimated based on the frequency, intensity and regularity of your wrist movements. Polar Flow mobile app also shows distance based on the steps you have taken.
Active Time tells you the cumulative time at low, medium and high activity intensity. In Polar Flow mobile app and web service you can also see time spent in different activity intensity levels.
Sleep Duration and Quality
Sleep and required amount of rest are very individual and affected by several factors like training load, stress, body’s condition and individual differences. Polar Flow mobile app and web service tell you how much you have slept and how restful your sleep has been. By following your sleeping patterns you can see if they’re affected by any changes in your daily life and find the right balance of rest, daily activity and training.

Activity Intensity Levels
Your Polar device tracks your daily activities at five intensity levels: resting, sitting, low, medium and high. Sitting for long periods of time is not good for your health – even on those days when you train and gain enough daily activity. Sitting affects to your blood circulation, metabolism, energy expenditure and body's readiness for training. Your device reminds you to get up after 55 minutes of sitting and helps you to add the active breaks to your daily routines. After one hour of sitting you will get an inactivity stamp which is visible in Flow app and web service. Recognize the patterns of your daily inactivity and find ways to make changes toward healthier living.
Sleep duration and quality
Starts tracking your sleep time automatically when you lie down and your body movements slow. The Polar Flow mobile app and web service tell you how much you slept in total and how restful your sleep was. By showing you the amount of restful versus restless sleep, it gives you a detailed look into how you sleep at night so you can see if it's affected by any changes in your daily life.

Advanced activity analysis
Activity reports store all your daily activity so that you can easily analyze your daily and long-term physical activity. The total active time tells you the cumulative time of body movements that are good for your body and health. Besides the many details you get about your physical activity and all the health benefits that come with it, you can also see the inactive periods and when you've been still for too long.
Diary is available at Polar Flow web service. When you transfer your training and activity details from your activity tracker to Polar Flow, you can easily follow your activity and progress. You can choose to see your activity history in a monthly or weekly view, along with a monthly or weekly summary.
